JerryRig!
Software is a private venture
dedicated to providing outstanding network workstation control and
superior educational software to users of networked workstations in
education and in business enterprises. |

JerryRig!
Software
was founded in 1991 as CimSoft
Software.
The company was formed to meet a need for interactive computer-based
training applications for electro-mechanical motor controls and programmable
logic controllers. As industrial and technical school instructors,
Jerry Webb and Stanley Kaltwasser noted a need for software tutorial
applications that would teach the more difficult and abstract concepts.
Many of these concepts required the ability to "imagine" what was
happening in a circuit or a program. This required both animation
and interactivity. Because few applications were available, we set
out to develop applications for use in our own classrooms. Many colleagues
saw our tutorials and asked for their own copies. This soon led us
to form what is now called
JerryRig! Software.
We are located in Perkins, Oklahoma, on the banks of the Cimarron
River, 10 miles south of Stillwater, Oklahoma, the home of Oklahoma
State University. Our original name, CimSoft Software was an allusion
to the legendary Cimarron River, but that name was soon registered,
much to our surprise, by a software company in Provo, Utah ... so,
the enterprise was happily renamed to the much more appropriate, JerryRig!
Software.

| Kudos:
|
| |
My
lovely wife of many decades, Marie, for love and companionship ...
as well as a kind and understanding heart. Our loving 'furry children',
Max and Sheela [the dachshund clan]. |
| |
Our only child ... Lisa Rene' Gatliff, granddaughters, Lindsay and
Bethany Leiter, and a lifetime blessed with many relatives, friends,
and coworkers. |
| |
My
parents ... Garland Braz Webb and Maude Ella [Ware] Webb, only brother,
Garland Braz Webb Jr. All deceased now ... missed, loved, and appreciated
more now than when they were living. |
| |
Our
God ... Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for summoning first myself,
and later Marie, to convert to the Holy Roman Catholic Church late
in the 50th decade of our lives. |
